“I made us a plan,” I corrected.
He pushed the paper away from himself instantly. “I’m not doing shifts in my own house.”
I looked him dead in the eye. “Then tell me what you will do.”
His expression tightened with frustration. “Brianna, I work all day.”
“I know,” I answered calmly. “I’m asking what happens when you come home.”
He did not answer me.
I tapped the paper with my index finger. “I can’t carry both boys. I can’t do baths alone. Last night, I tried to settle Liam by myself because you wouldn’t get up.”
That detail finally got his full attention. “You shouldn’t have done that.”
“I shouldn’t have needed to, Mason, but you gave me no choice,” I told him.
Mason looked away toward the window.
“Will you take these things over until I’m cleared?” I asked.
“No,” he said flatly.
