Rebecca read the letter.

“Do you want reconciliation?”
“No.”
“Do you want revenge?”
I thought about it.
“No.”
“What do you want?”
“My company protected.”
“And personally?”
I looked at my wedding ring.
“A divorce.”

I removed the ring that afternoon.
Not dramatically.
No throwing it into a river.
