Grace did not react.
Ethan leaned forward.
“You want to humiliate me? Fine. You’ve done it.”
Grace looked around the table.
Nobody met Ethan’s eyes.
She looked back at him.
“You spent seventy-three thousand dollars in company money on this trip.”
“That is not relevant.”
“Twenty-nine thousand for the villa.”
“Investor relations.”
“Sixteen thousand for a chartered jet.”
“Business transport.”
“Four thousand eight hundred dollars at Van Cleef.”
His jaw clenched.
Grace raised one eyebrow.
“Was the bracelet investor relations too?”
One of the remote board members removed his glasses.
Martin stared at the table.
Ethan’s face flushed.
Grace continued.
“I don’t care who you sleep with anymore.”
The words struck harder because there was no anger behind them.
“I care that you paid for it with money belonging to shareholders.”
Ethan glanced toward Declan.
“You’re enjoying this.”
Declan answered evenly.
“No. I’m evaluating an investment.”
