“Yes.”
“Non-operating shares.”
“Still shares.”
“The Harbor Crown agreement has been reviewed by counsel.”
Rebecca Sloan cleared her throat.
Ethan looked at her.
She looked uncomfortable.
“Our office reviewed the version presented to us.”
Ethan’s eyes narrowed.
“What does that mean?”
Grace removed two documents.
She placed them side by side.
“One is the version Rebecca’s office received.”
She tapped the first.
“The other is the version sent to Harbor Crown forty-eight hours later.”
Ethan went still.
Martin looked up sharply.
One board member leaned forward.
Grace continued.
“Page eighty-four.”
Ethan did not move.
Rebecca did.
She opened her copy.
Grace watched Ethan.
“Section twelve, subsection D.”
Rebecca found it.
Her brows pulled together.
Then she looked at Ethan.
“What is this?”
He said nothing.
Rebecca read aloud.
“Upon completion of transaction, all intellectual property licenses currently held by operating subsidiaries shall be deemed permanent, irrevocable, transferable and—”
